Recollection Raised, Sorted, and Compiled in Alice McDermott's "Someone"
Abstract
This paper attempts to analyze Memory as an active and selective process in Alice McDermotts Someone. McDermott does not pretend that human memory is infallible instead she makes it clear that it is reconstructed. It is an active process that assists in shifting the inessential according to individuals emotions.
